The MarsVita site’s own code uses only the session cookie needed for its functions. It does not place analytics, advertising, profiling or third-party marketing cookies. The cookie notice is information, not a request for marketing permission.
Cookie and local browser record PHPSESSID is a first-party session cookie. It maintains the PHP session, form protection (CSRF) and admin login. It expires when the browser session ends. It is set with HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and with Secure when the site is served over HTTPS. It is used only to the extent needed for site functions.
mv_cookie_v2 is a browser local-storage key recording that you dismissed the notice. It is not a cookie and is not sent to the server with every request. It remains until you clear browser data or use the “Show cookie notice again” link on the site.
Control and external links Where permitted by law, the essential session cookie does not require separate explicit consent. Dismissing the notice does not authorise any other cookie category. You can delete or block the cookie and local record in your browser settings, although sessions, forms and admin functions may be affected. Clicking WhatsApp or Google Maps links may take you to services that use their own cookies; these are not placed on the MarsVita site.
